About
S&B Driving School opened in January 2008 and we are the oldest and longest running driving school in the area. When we opened our doors in St. Leon we initially had 3 instructors and two cars. In a span of seventeen years we have expanded into two locations, St. Leon and Batesville and we now have 9 instructors and nine cars! Although we are growing, we are still a family owned business and we put the needs of families first! From the beginning, we have strived to maintain a commitment to both top of the line curriculum and flexibility for families. We are the finest program in the area and you can expect that your teen will receive nothing but the best. Whatever it is you need, we are willing to work with you. In addition, each of our instructors are employed as educators in the local schools, which means that they are accustomed to working with teens day in and day out. For this reason, we are able to provide an environment where your teen will be comfortable and where they will be able to grow as a driver. To ensure that we have the best instructors around, each instructor must be certified and licensed through the both the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the State of Indiana Teachers License Department.

Since his retirement in 2012, he has spent his free time driving for S&B and enjoying countless hours with his family. He has lived in the area all his life and has 5 children who are all graduates of East Central. With his kids now grown, he keeps busy following the many activities of his grandkids.

Tom Harris earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University and then went on to earn his Master’s degree from Indiana State.
